Suppliers/Partners

Our plan is to continue to work with sustainability experts we are developing a plan towards a lasting, positive impact on the health of people and our planet.

Our plan is:

Care for it.

Caring for our bees is top priority, for a sustainable future.

Build it.

To work with independent beekeeping teams who lead the way in sustainable beekeeping.

Sell it.

During the ‘non-Manuka’ season their beehives are placed widely across New Zealand where the bees have easy access to lots of flowering plants and can provide natural pollination to enrich the land and plant life.

Make it.

NO antibiotics or hormones are ever used, and we use only organic weed control if needed to keep the area around the beehives clear.

Share it.

That our beekeepers/suppliers are experts in bee health.

We take our environmental responsibility seriously and never stop asking ‘how can we do better?

We aim to reduce, reuse or recycle wherever possible and have onsite recycling for cardboard, glass, plastic, metal, wood and organic waste.

Our jars are made here in New Zealand by Pharmapac (a Toitu Enviromark Diamond Accredited manufacturer) from BPA-free recyclable plastic – we constantly assess packaging options and at this current time PET plastic remains the most sustainable packaging choice. It is 100% recyclable and has a lower carbon footprint than glass (glass is heavier and bulkier to transport and more difficult to recycle compared to plastic).

It all begins with an idea.
